COGICs Best Dressed of the 107th Holy Convocation

   I have posted many different looks and people on my Instagram blog (@thee_vintage_guy) this week. These beautiful amazing people and their equally beautiful and amazing garments were featured at the 107th Church Of God In Christ Holy Convocation which was held last week in St Louis. One of the largest Pentecostal gatherings of people and some of the best fashion you will ever see in Christendom. From Escada to St John, from Jack McConnell to Shellie McDowell, and from A Vintage Boutique to a Thrift Store; you will find all types of looks. Since the 3rd grade when I was introduced to this wonderful delegation of people (I'm an adopted son of the church😄) I have been infatuated with fashion. An amazing women by the name of Sandra Lorraine Taylor (COGIC Supervisor) afforded me the opportunity to fall in love with fashion. She introduced me Louis Vuitton and St.John whereas the list goes on and on; because of her and this amazing church I have fallen in love with fashion and ultimately God. Again I have been posting some of my favorite looks on my Instagram Blog (@thee_vintage_guy) this week; today I announce my top looks of the week and they come from one place; Superintendent Nate and Lady Tarsha Jefferson.

   To me this is the new G.E. and Louise Patterson; their taste is impeccable and sophisticated. You will never find Lady Tarsha out of place when it comes to attire. Always elegant and classy; I scroll down my news feed on social media sites Monday mornings hoping just to see a glimpse what she slayed the saints in. Supt Nate Jefferson shows you how to be trendy and not compromise your walk with Christ (I believe I'm preaching). I notice many men my age (younger and older) try to be on trend when it comes to their attire in church. They try and accomplish the slim fit suit look. I honestly wish they will just rid of that entire fad. It started with European cut suits which are well tailored suit, cut to perfection to fit a gentlemans body (that's a blog for another day). These cut suits are not to big where a gentleman looks sloppy and not to tight where he looks slutty (HELLO CHURCH). Supt Nate Jefferson never fails when it comes to accomplishing what every dapper gentleman or man strives to look like. Simple lapel flowers (not a rose garden), amazing well tailored and custom suits. The greatest pop of color ties and wide collar French cuff shirts. On top of their dressing especially during their convocation, these two people are anointed by God. I honestly believe the "LOOK" of someone can elevate due to the anointing. If you have never seen Supt Nate preach or Lady Tarsha preach in a good Christian Louboutin, then you are really doing yourself a disservice.
